Harvest Time

Bucko and I have been fortunate to be able to see the food bowls of the Nation at work during our time on The Track. From Gunnedah, to Griffith, the Lachlan Valley and Tasmania, we have seen various crops being harvested and transported off to who knows where, but they are sure going some place!  The size of the trucks moving all the food, grains and hay has been a great experience to behold.
Fields and fields of huge hay rolls and giant hay bales, all a soft creamy/yellow.  Some times set in rows, sometimes all over the field, sometimes on trucks, sometimes on brown fields. In Tasmania the rolls and bales are sitting on green fields as the grass is growing back so fast, due to all the rain these past months.  Of course I had to take a few photos of the hay fields, as we both thought they looked stunning.
Click on View Full Album then select Slide show. The photos can be made larger and if you wish to leave a Comment with any of the photos, please feel free to do so. - Enjoy.

You are going to be scrapbooking for years when you get back from this trip. I love the hay bails.
