Billy Can Loaf

A version of Damper, sweet and cooked in a Billy, courtesy Caravanners Forum (CF).

Billy Loaf
(The Billy Can is a tin, with handles and lid, used to carry water, boil water and make tea)

- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup wheatmeal
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon malt or treacle.

Mix with water, place in billy can with lid on, bake in moderate oven 3/4 hour.
